1) How much does a website cost? You can expect to pay for a domain name, server space rental, graphics/layout design fees and coding fees. While it is impossible to answer this question specifically without further information about the type of site desires, we can provide some very general information.

Domain Names cost anywhere from $10-50 per year depending on where and how they are purchased.

Server Space Rental is based on the amount of space (in megabites or gigabites) needed to host the site and other server features such as SQL server. The least expensive space (10 MB) starts around $100 per year and includes 5 email accounts. Websites such as E-commerce sites require more space and SQL server capablities.  These sites range from 250MB, 50 email accounts ($250 per year) to dedicated servers for extemely large websites.

Graphic design and coding fees depend on the complexity of the website.  They can range from a few hours (less than 10) to hundreds of hours.
